2023 RISC-V Taipei Day


RISC-V has seen significant developments in 2023. A number of major manufacturers, including QUALCOMM, NXP, Infineon, Bosch, and Nordic have announced a joint venture for RISC-V architecture in automotive electronics. Meta has also unveiled the first RISC-V based AI chip “MTIA” in May this year which is expected to be launched in 2025. Meanwhile, Google also announced that Android will support RISC-V architecture in the future. LINUX also expressed their interest in exploring RISC-V with the establishment of RISE (RISC-V Software Ecosystem) which includes global ICT and semiconductor giants such as: Samsung Electronics, NVIDIA, Intel, Google, and Qualcomm.
2023 RISC-V Taipei Day, hosted by RISC-V Taiwan Alliance (RVTA), invited speakers representing local and international industry experts to share their insights on the trends and developments of RISC-V over the years. Focus on RISC-V's role in AI Computing and explore the potentials of RISC-V's open source architecture in the AI era.
