COMPUTEX 2019 Venue to Add Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2

Asia’s leading B2B ICT Trade Show, COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2019 will return from May 28 to June 1, 2019. Taipei Computer Association (TCA), the co-organizer of the trade show announces that the main themes to be featured in COMPUTEX 2019 are: AI, IoT, Gaming & XR, 5G, Smart Retail, and Blockchain. Synchronizing with the growing trend in the ICT industry, COMPUTEX will also have a new area on Cyber Security & Video Surveillance. The registration for exhibitors will begin on September 17, 2018.

The dedicated startup exhibition InnoVEX will also move to a new venue: Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) Hall 1 to accommodate the vast growth of exhibitors and visitors. The registration for InnoVEX exhibitors, will also begin on September 17, 2018.

One-Stop B2B ICT Procurement Platform in Nangang Exhibition Hall 1 & Hall 2

TCA states that as Nangang Exhibition Hall 2 (Nangang Hall 2) will begin its operation in March 2019, it will also be one of the venues of COMPUTEX 2019. Exhibition areas originally located at TWTC Hall 1 such as Communication & Networking, Mobile Device Accessories, Computer Peripherals & Accessories, Touch Applications & Display Products, and SmarTEX will be relocated to the new Nangang Hall 2. The Smart Retail & Business Solutions Area will also be relocated to the new Nangang Hall 2. The new Cyber Security & Video Surveillance Area was established to respond to the digital economy and industrial digital transformation needs. With companies in all segments of the ICT supply chain joining, the Nangang Exhibition Center will be a one-stop B2B ICT procurement platform for both local and international buyers.

The well-received SmarTEX will aim to meet the needs of global system integrators and telecom operators in addition to buyers. The exhibition themes in SmarTEX 2019 will include: AI & Robotics, Fintech & Blockchain, Smart Agriculture, Smart Home, Smart Tech Solutions, Smart Transportation, and Wearable & Healthcare.

The Dedicated Startup Exhibition InnoVEX 2019 Moves to TWTC Hall 1

InnoVEX in 2018 had an astonishing 43% growth and has been recognized as one of the leading startup event in Asia. The startup event will return in May 29 to 31, 2019. the venue for InnoVEX 2019 will be moved to Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) Hall 1. This is done to accommodate more exhibitors, visitors, and investors. With a bigger venue, InnoVEX 2019 will feature more events and activities. Online registration of InnoVEX 2019 will be available from 17th September 2018, and in order to match visitors to exhibitors more accurately, dedicated themed pavilions have been established which includes A.I., Blockchain, Bio-Tech & Healthcare and Circular Economy. Startups who match these dedicated themed zones are encouraged to register.

Following the technology trends on putting a higher importance in experience and also eSports, COMPUTEX will also add a Demos & eSports Area in TWTC Hall 1. The area is expected to have eSports events and interactive technology events for visitors to experience the future.
