One of the organizers of COMPUTEX, Taipei Computer Association (TCA) stated that as Asia’s leading B2B ICT trade show, COMPUTEX will be held concurrently with the startup focused event - InnoVEX from June 4 to 7 in the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (TaiNEX) Halls 1 and 2. With “Connecting AI” as the main theme for this year’s COMPUTEX, a total of 1500 local and international exhibitors will showcase their products and innovations in AI computing, advanced communications, future mobility, immersive reality, sustainability, and other innovative technology products such as smart manufacturing, digital health, net-zero, and more.

The organizers have opened the online pre-registration system for buyers and professionals from around the world. GenAI will be the Highlight of COMPUTEX 2024

Earlier this year, NVIDIA held the GTC 2024 event where the NVIDIA CEO, Jensen Huang stated that generative AI (GenAI) will be the vital, key technology of this era. The company has also unveiled their Blackwell platform, the “world's most powerful chip” that will power “a new era of computing”.

TCA stated that many manufacturers including ASUS, GIGABYTE, MSI, Delta, Supermicro, ASRock, QCT, PNY, Inventec, AVerMedia, etc. that joined GTC 2024 will also exhibit at COMPUTEX 2024. The companies will showcase their GenAI solutions in COMPUTEX, including: AI Servers, AI PCs, Edge AI, and more.

TCA stated that according to research by IDC, the global corporate spending on GenAI solutions in 2023 reached USD 16 billion; which includes spendings on GenAI software, infrastructure hardware, and services. This value is expected to reach USD 143 billion by 2027 with a 5-year CAGR of 73.3% from 2023 to 2027; more than double the growth rate of overall AI spending and almost 13 times greater than the CAGR for worldwide IT spending over the same period.
