Chunghwa Telecom Collaborates with Qualcomm, Microsoft, and Taiwan’s PC Makers on the Enterprise Digital Transformation Solution

Chunghwa Telecom today announced that it is working together with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., Microsoft and PC makers Acer, ASUS, Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) and Inventec Appliances as well as the Taipei Computer Association (TCA), on the promotion of the “Enterprise Digital Transformation” PC solution amid intensifying global trend towards digitalization during the post-pandemic era. By establishing private networks and leveraging PCs powered by the most advanced Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ compute platforms, this total solution will create a mobile work environment in the post-pandemic era for local enterprises to drive innovation and lead digital transformation in all industries.

This enterprise solution integrates the strengths of local and international telecom and wireless technology providers, cloud service providers and major computer brands. It integrates the private network provided by Chunghwa Telecom, featuring high information security, and Snapdragon compute platform benefits. It is a complete solution from communication networks to PC end devices ideal for enterprise digital transformation, and is designed to meet the needs of corporate information security. Due to the pandemic, more and more companies seek to make telework more secure and efficient by finding faster and more secure ways to connect with employees. In the process of digital innovation R&D and digital transformation, it is also required to provide employees with enterprise-level security on their PCs while allowing them to access data outside the walls. Moreover, the future of mobility will also drive increased demand for light and thin always on and always connected PCs with true mobility, features found on PCs powered by Snapdragon compute platforms.
