The fiber optic cable supports most distances at a cost significantly less than those of single mode. The 1.6 mm OD allows more fiber ports per unit of rack space. We have single mode and multimode: G.652 (9/125 um), G.657 (9/125 um), OM1 (62.5/125 um), and OM2-5 (50/125 um).
