Bridge IC

Bridge IC (BIC) is a small processor with memory and storage built in. It collaborates with BMC under the Open Compute Project (OCP) framework to extend BMC management function. BIC can share BMC's management burden in complex system architecture and improve operational efficiency, and become the local agent of BMC. It has built-in logic control and multiple connections to the host system and BMC, allowing it to log events from the system on which it is installed.​
