“New Smart Technology Experiences Lead Life into A New Era” is the theme of the next COMPUTEX 2022 Symposium which will be held on January 12, 2022. The symposium will focus on smart technologies that emerge as a result of new technologies as well as necessity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The forum will feature speakers from leading companies to share their insights on how to leverage the opportunities provided by new technology trends.

The ICT industry has been the source of many disruptions as much as it is affected by disruptions. In an April 2021 article, Gartner identified 6 key forces that will have strong impacts on businesses up to 2025. Among the factors outlined are: disruptions from geopolitics & world events, changing customer demand and expectations, disruptions from emerging technology & trends, industry dynamics, new & old entrants, and disruptive business models.

The COVID-19 pandemic has contributed to more than just one of the 6 key forces as it has been shown to create a complex series of effects.
