Major Technology Manufacturers Showcase Smart Vehicle & Smart Cockpit Innovations in the TADA Pavilion of COMPUTEX 2023

As a co-organizer of COMPUTEX, Taipei Computer Association (TCA) stated that SEMI predicted that the value of the global automotive electronics market will exceed USD 400 billion by 2028 with a CAGR of 7.9%. As the automotive industry is moving towards smart and electrified vehicles, the demand for automotive electronics and automotive chips will continue to increase. The industry think-tank MIC shared that the growth potential of the global electronics market has already surpassed the growth rate of ICT products; with a CAGR of 12% from 2022 to 2025. The main driving forces for this growth include autonomous driving, electric vehicles, as well as in-vehicle infotainment upgrades.

Recent trends such as the improvement of driving safety requirements and new goals to achieve net-zero have promoted the smart and electric vehicles products and modules developed by Taiwanese manufacturers. These products have become a major source of procurement for major car manufacturers as well as Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturers from around the world. In addition, major car manufacturers and Tier-1 manufacturers from around the world are partnering with Taiwanese technology giants to develop electronic modules for the new generation of smart cars and electric vehicles.

TADA Pavilion to Provide One-Stop Procurement Services for Smart Vehicles in COMPUTEX 2023

TCA stated that the Taiwan Advanced Automotive Technology Development Association (TADA) pavilion will be held in COMPUTEX 2023 to help facilitate global buyers to directly purchase various automotive electronic modules and products. In COMPUTEX 2023 which will be held in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 and 2 from May 30 to June 2; the TADA pavilion will be in booth number M0830 and will feature exhibitors including Powerchip Technology, Clientron, TUV NORD, Mass World International, Sysgration, Pegatron, Sentec Green Technology, Inventec, AI Memory, MSI, Retronix, and oToBrite. The pavilion will showcase various smart vehicle related automotive electronics and smart cockpits as well as other products.

The TADA Pavilion will also feature a comprehensive smart cockpit solution; including: in-vehicle entertainment system, digital instrument cluster, in-vehicle information & communication systems, automotive electronic rear-view mirror systems, driver monitoring systems, and more. In addition, the pavilion will showcase ADAS modules and platforms as well as specialized custom designs for cars, buses, commercial vehicles, etc. can be provided according to customer needs. The TADA Pavilion will also showcase innovative metaverse powered applications and platforms to accelerate the development of metaverse powered automotive solutions.

The pavilion will include automotive electronic modules such as automotive AI chips, AI modules for vehicles, automotive process technology platform, SiC power modules for EV electronics, Central Gateways, EV wireless charging modules, EV charging stations, and more. The TADA pavilion will also provide different solutions according to the original equipment (OE) or aftermarket (AM) requirements to create a truly comprehensive one stop smart car electronics procurement services.

Dr. Sam Shen, the Secretary General of TADA shared that in recent years, many major international car manufacturers have regarded CES as the main exhibition for announcing new cars in North America. Smart cars and electric vehicles with automatic driving functions will be an important industry for mutual cooperation between automotive and ICT industries. Currently many car automakers have already cooperated with ICT manufacturers to develop and enable new car functions such as ADAS, smart cockpits, IoV applications, etc. for not both EV and ICE vehicles. To help global buyers find various smart car electronic modules and EV solutions during the event, the TADA Pavilion will be a one-stop procurement center during COMPUTEX 2023.
