1. Fertilizer application evaluation:Using the NDVI values, it was possible to differentiate the levels of fertilizer application for both rice and wheat. The small UAV-derived NDVI values are effective for predicting yield and detecting fertilizer application levels during rice and wheat production season.
2. Assess soil condition
Using 5 narrow band spectral indices to evaluate the soil condition. This data is beneficial in agricultural planning and management in a cost effective and rapid way to evaluate the soil condition.
3. Crop growth management
Using different spectrum growth metrics for crop growth monitoring and yield modeling. These growth metrics can be applied to other types of crop monitoring in different climate zones.
