"An Intelligent Transportation Open Field Test Research Project in Danhai New Town"
“C-ITS Smart Road in D-City (Danhai)” represents the concept and expectation of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) for the new generation of smart cities. MOTC has integrated the world's leading 5G technology, Metaverse, C-V2X, and AR technology into urban traffic management and application services. MOTC will be the first to display three major themes: integrating "3D Digital Twin" into urban traffic management, 5G C-V2X Location-Based Service (LBS), and Metaverse AR experience in the exhibition.
In addition to providing the public with an experience and feel of the people-friendly charm of the “C-ITS Smart Road in D-City”, it also illustrates the new generation of C-ITS smart road management methods. The main purpose is to provide the public with safer, more efficient, more comfortable, and more energy- conservation transportation application services.
