As a leading MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems) application innovation company in Taiwan, j-mex is dedicated to the independent research and development of "body sensing technology", which uses 9-axis sensors to accurately measure body movements and provide dynamic changes in the angles of the main joints of the body and angle data. We have built a complete solution from sensing module, algorithm, app to cloud management.
In order to provide users with a more comfortable wearing experience, j-mex and Makalot strategically cooperated to integrate the advantages of both parties in different professional fields, and Makalot was responsible for the development of the new style design, the use of Taiwan's excellent functional fabrics, as well as cross-industry cooperation in the development of high tensile elastic conductive wires (with 0.5mm ultra-thin conductive cores and four-channel design of the special structure, so that 1.6mm diameter four-channel elastic conductive wires can reach 180% elongation under straight wire and can be repeatedly stretched), this special elastic conductive wire is very suitable for electronic textile products, and the connection design with PCB/FPC has been strengthened to ensure the normal operation of the device under the intense dynamics.
The “j-mex Motion Capture Intelligence Package”can be utilized in sports training and fitness testing. Through precise motion capture, sports enthusiasts can instantly measure and record the dynamic changes of the body's main joint angles, and give scores and evaluation and suggestions for improvement based on the evaluation criteria set by the trainer or the changes in the joint angles demanded by the trainer, as well as track the effectiveness of the training in the long run. In addition, the product can also be used for AR/VR avatar control and movie/animation character movement development. It allows wearable users to record Avatar movements via PC software and then apply the virtual appearance/skin; developers can also record movements and then apply the recorded sensory data to the developed software.
