Taiwan Smart Textile Association was jointly initiated by the textile, electronics, and telecommunications industries in March 2018. In order to create the future trend of wearing smart textiles and promote cross-domain industry exchanges andcooperation, we aim to achieve the common development of the industry；two SIGs which named SIGs-Health Care SIG and Sports Leisure SIG were established in September 2021, strengthen the promotion of the connection between health care and sports leisure application industries.
Wearable technology has become an important trend in global development. Taiwan has the advantages of three world-class advanced technologies in textiles, electronics and information. We are committed to the research and development of smart textiles, integrating different industries, acquiring information on international markets, and working hard to create new values for textiles in Taiwan.
