COMPUTEX and InnoVEX held their opening ceremonies on June 4, kicking off the four-day event. With 1,500 companies from 36 countries and 4,500 booths, it is expected to draw over 50,000 industry experts and visitors.

The COMPUTEX opening ceremony featured an address by Taiwan’s President, Dr. Lai Ching-te, who also presented the winner of the highest honor of the Best Choice Award: the Best Choice of the Year. The winner of this award is NVIDIA AI Enterprise.

The lively afternoon InnoVEX ceremony saw participation from various government representatives, international trade offices, and numerous VCs, CVCs and startup teams. The Chairman of the Taipei Computer Association, Mr. Paul SL Peng highlighted that startups can showcase their business value and attract investments and partnerships through InnoVEX.

InnoVEX’s Pitch Contest 2024 is the ultimate stage for tech startups. The 15 finalists were announced and they focus on various industries and applications including AI, Green Tech, Healthcare Biotech, Precision Manufacturing, Semiconductor Applications, and Smart Mobility.
